Add Service Model

This is actually a note for my specific instance of Oracle EBS used in BIT and IJMG. We have defined a service item category called Service Model. So, this post is not likely can be used in any of your installation.

New service model is setup in flexfield.

Find Values for Key Flexfield with Title: Item Categories, Structure: DM Service Item Category, Segment: Service Model. Add values here.

Then Setup Category Codes:
: Setup: Items: Categories: Category Codes
Structure Name: DM Service Item Category


Then Setup Category Sets:
: Setup: Items: Categories: Category Sets
Name: Service Model
Flex Structure: Service Model
Use Assign button to assign category (service model) to item (sales model code)
